ADK Hospital

My recent visit to ADK Hospital revealed a facility prioritizing cleanliness and featuring commendable doctors. However, extended waiting times proved challenging, impacting the overall experience negatively. Efficient patient flow management could alleviate this issue. Additionally, enhancing communication at the front counter would contribute to a smoother visit, reducing uncertainties. While the hospital showcases positive aspects, addressing these concerns would significantly elevate the overall patient experience.

I had a visit with a Doctor and he prescribed blood tests. I had the sample taken after which I had to go to Resorts for work. I came back and wanted to show the results but.they aske me to pay again 700 MVR because 5 days had passed! Unfortunately I still have to work to survive.
Anyway I did not pay because I think this is a rip-off

I had to visit the emergency room for check up for serious unexpected condition. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. The staff speaks good English and makes thorough examination with necessary consult, in my case neurologist (at least if you're insured). I paid immediately with debit card on bedside and left with prescription to continue my vacation.

The worst hospital in Maldives. I came with my daughter for an appointment which is starting at 08: 00. Doctor (Aiminath nasiha) came after 09: 00. And she went to her break at 10: 15. Still not came. It’s 11: 00 now. Have to stay with my sick daughter for hours

Wow, ADK hospital is one of the best hospital in male. I got the appointment for surgery doctor, Dr.ishan.my appointment time is 10: 00.after 20 minutes I said why the doctor didn't come, receptionist check and said doctor went for emergency surgery, (fully understand, emergency is always first priority) after few minutes again they informed all the patients that the doctor is delayed he can come 12: 00. So, that's excellent.they informed us what's going on. ADK care their patients. Doctor came before 12: 00, Dr. Ishan is super experience, very experience doctor, so far the best surgery doctor, very friendly too. Same day same time I went radiology department (Dr. Shudfa) explain me very clearly and went the orthopedic department too. Orthopedic department is super. Dr. Aminth ifasha gasim is cool doctor. She is really good with her staffs. Very friendly with her staffs. So, whole department staffs are super friendly and kind. Did small surgery too. Before 14: 30 I have finish all.if you want good treatment with super experience doctors, I recommend ADK surgery and orthopedic department.

Slowest discharge process for inpatients I have ever experienced in my life. Not what I expected from one of the biggest and oldest private health institutions in Maldives. I would not recommend this place for an inpatient stay unless improved. There is room for improvement.

Worlds worst hospital they have to be rated as 5 star they only their to take money without explaining the patient what test they doing I have been to hospital 2 times with serious pain end up breaking up head because they don't listen to problem after spending 5000 mvr last bill and 2000 mvr first bill they still clue less. Pleasr think before going to adk.

I made an appointment through phone call on 4th of january to consult to Orthopedic and i got a message wich is shown that i have to pay with in 24 hours (the Gentlement CS told me to pay with in 10 minutes) through the link attached.i went through that link there was a blank need to fill up and i completed wich i put my insurrance and submitted and shown status was completed. I really want to double check i re-call again the Customer service (lady CS) ask me the Hospital Number after that she told me my appointment has confirmed.today 5th of january i came to ADK and shown that my appointment and 2nd Floor CS said my one is cancelled.what is happening? Was the link is valid? How is the direction on the link are not shown where i have to tranfered amount for booking.

I Planned myself to come however my appointment are cancelled.

As someone who does not live in the Maldives, I have to say the care provided from the general doctor was excellent. I had an infected coral scrap and she provided medicine and cream along with compression for my flight home and I was shocked at the price for it all compared to the US healthcare. It was very affordable for what I went for.

I know that this surgery is a big challenge to doctors.becoz i got 3 fractures and fractures was too bad. ️

When I ever I have any problem he is there for me always.
I feel that he is like my own Brother ️ Once In a moment also I don’t feel he is my Doctor.

I was trying to get connected to hospital from morning to afternoon. No one is answering the call. 3313553. This is the number which shown in the internet. Finaly i tried ambilance number they are not ready to give any information or transfer the call.when i reach male there comes the need of ambulance. Before coming i should know some details. If yor hospital is beyond the reach of a contact how would things work

It’s sad how doctors take their patients for granted. I have made my appointment for today, the doctor was supposed to start consultations at 8am this morning as per the hospital. But doctor started the token at 8.40am and only seen 7 patients until around 9.20am and took a break for breakfast and just came back at 11am past. Does the hospital or doctors think we PAY for them to keep us waiting? This is not free and it’s not cheap. Does the doctor think we have the whole day to sit around and wait for them? Is the health system become a joke? Minister of Health i think you need to seriously give a solution to this. We PAY for time, the doctor should have had a breakfast and come if she is starting at 8.30am past, patients are not a joke or to be taken as a joke. My appointment was in room 192 on the first floor. Ministry of Health and Minister of Health for your concerns.

Very Very Very poor service at all. I experienced this when I visited the hospital for general consultation. There was Dr. Arusha Ali Rasheed who went from her room No 17 and came back after 2 hours. Please go somewhere else if she is there in the OPD. The patients were shouting outside. If you want to see her, search in Google

Was waiting to consult a general doctor in the OPD "Arusha Ali Rasheed" and doctor left her room and came back after 1 hour. Patients were waiting outside, this is a good example for ADK's service.

Hospital inner side were clean, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make hospitality. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone visiting for treatment.but prices some high

Scanning services are reliable & staff are very polite. However, sometimes, waiting period is too long.
